Here’s a quick note to all of you interested in the progress toward reopening the Hingham Centre Playground.
Hingham resident and landscape architect Sean Papich has graciously donated an alternative plan to the one proposed by the Town. I’m attaching it for your review and comments. Sean’s plan more closely replicates the layout of the original equipment, moving it farther from School St. and keeping it nestled among the trees next to the cemetery fence.

A quick update on the status of the Hingham Centre Playground project. It’s some time since I sent you the first email update and I suspect some of you are wondering what’s going on.
At the suggestion of a neighbor, Hingham landscape architect Sean Papich has agreed to take a look at the proposed plan and offer suggestions. He’s taken the project on on a pro-bono basis for which we thank him. He has visited the site with Michael Monteiro and me, offered some thoughts and has promised a draft of a plan, which we should have soon. |
